How To Build A Free Blog On The Blogspot Blogging Platform

Blogging is a great thing because you can share anything and eran decent money.

Before I begin the tutorial completely, there are some things you should know:

  • First of all, BlogSpot is a blogging platform that is powered by Google, gives you the opportunity to start a blog, but all your images will be hosted by Picasa (also part of Google). Blogspot, in this sense, is a Google-focused blogging platform.

To create free blogs on blogspots step by step guide

To create your own free blogspot blog site, visit your blogspot.com using your Google Account and login. If you do not have a Google (Gmail) account, you can create one for free.

For the first time user, you'll see the option to use your Google+ profile identity, or you can use your limited profile blogspot. I would advise you to use your Google Plus profile.

Once you are logged in, click on "new blog" or go directly to this link: Create a free blog

Name your blog

Select your domain by adding a name.

Avoid using your personal name as a domain name, and instead use some common domain names that you can brand later with custom domains.

You can then choose a blog template, and click "create blog".

Now your blog has been created.

You can start writing in your first blog post by clicking on "Posts"> "New Post".

But before you write your first post, I suggest that you go to "Page" and create at least one "About" page and describe who you are and what your blog is all about.

Most importantly, you should change your blog's template because default is a normal and boring.

You can go to "Settings"> "Template" and change the template from there.
